Viktor Orbán bei der CSU

Die Augsburger Allgemeine berichtet über den Besuch Viktor Orbáns bei der Klausurtagung der CSU in Kloster Banz:

Die CSU macht gemeinsame Sache mit einem in der Kritik stehenden Regierungschef. Grenzsicherung ist eine Maßnahme vor dem Hintergrund der Flüchtlingszahlen, auf die sich beide leicht einigen können. Wo Ungarn Zäune errichtet, begnügt sich Bayern mit der Kontrolle von Autobahnen. Die Wirksamkeit beider Maßnahmen ist eine Chimäre: Flüchtlinge umgehen den Zaun, weil sie ihre Route nun über Kroatien wählen. Flüchtlinge umgehen die Autobahnkontrollen, weil sie über kleine Straßen oder über Felder gehen.

Teilt Seehofer Orbáns Vision?

Die Einladung von Orbán auf die Klausurtagung der CSU wirft die Frage auf, wie nahe sich die CSU unter Seehofers Führung dem Ungarn fühlt. Dazu lohnt ein Blick auf eine Rede Orbans Mitte September auf dem 14. Kötcse civil picnic, die in englischer Übersetzung vorliegt:

"My position is that what we are experiencing now is the end of an era: a conceptual-ideological era. Putting pretension aside, we can simply call this the era of liberal babble. This era is now at an end, and this situation both carries a huge risk and offers a new opportunity. It offers the chance for the national-Christian ideology, way of thinking and approach to regain dominance – not only in Hungary, but throughout the whole of Europe. This is the opportunity. This will be the essence of my speech. Those who want more detail should not leave now, because I will now travel a long way before returning to the sentence which I have just said."

Er sieht den Untergang des "liberalen Geschwafels", den Aufstieg einer "national-christlichen Ideologie" "nicht nur in Ungarn, sondern in ganz Europa". Wobei sein Begriff von liberal weitreichend ist:

"The point is that today liberals dominate Europe; make no mistake, the conservatives in Europe today are also liberals"

Horst Seehofer als Liberaler? Wow!

"I am convinced that it is no longer possible in Europe to both see ourselves as good in the liberal sense and to live in prosperity. [...] There is no combination more dangerous than this. It is only a matter of time before someone comes along, notices your weakness, and takes what you have. This will definitely happen if you are unable to defend yourself. The liberal philosophy is a result of a Europe which is weak and which also wants to protect its wealth; but if Europe is weak, it cannot protect this wealth."

Er ist überzeugt, dass ein liberales Leben im Wohlstand nicht möglich sei. Ein schwaches Europa könne nicht seinen Wohlstand wahren.

"Therefore those Christian demands which are currently expressed as spiritual obligations are in my opinion correct when directed at citizens, but mistaken when directed at the state."

Christliche Werte - er bezieht sich auf das Teilen - seien für den Einzelnen machbar, nicht aber für Staaten, da so der gesamte Wohlstand im Staat gefährdet sei.

"Hungary – and now I do not want to speak for other countries, but I would like to think that most of Europe thinks as we do – must protect its ethnic and cultural composition."

Er ruft zur Verteidigung der ethischen und kulturellen Zusammensetzung auf. Hat er da vielleicht von Söders kultureller Statik abgeschaut? Wie Söder nimmt es auch Orbán nicht so genau - oder sehr genau - mit der Definition von Flucht vor Lebensgefahr im Gegensatz zu sog. Wirtschaftsflüchtlingen:

"Now we are inundated with countless immigrants: there is an invasion, they break down fences, and it is clear to us all that they are not seeking refuge, and are not running for their lives. [...] In fact it is not refuge in a life or death situation that they are seeking, but a better quality of life. In truth, they are not seeking safety."

"No one forced anyone out of a Turkish refugee camp – where life is not like that in Germany, but where there is no threat to one’s safety."

Wer dem Streubereich von Fassbomben entkommen ist, befände sich nicht mehr in Lebensgefahr.

Herr Seehofer, wie stehen Sie zu diesen Aussagen Viktor Orbáns? Ich frage, denn ein solches Europa ist nicht mein Europa.
